These tables show the percent chance to end up with each pick after the lottery. The last column shows the expected value or "EV," which is the average pick a team can expect to get based on their odds.
The default odds are as follows:
- 14.0% chance of getting the No. 1 pick
- 13.4% chance of getting the No. 2 pick
- 12.7% chance of getting the No. 3 pick
- 12.0% chance of getting the No. 4 pick
- 11.3% chance of getting the No. 5 pick
- 10.6% chance of getting the No. 6 pick
- 9.9% chance of getting the No. 7 pick
- 9.2% chance of getting the No. 8 pick
- 8.5% chance of getting the No. 9 pick
- 7.8% chance of getting the No. 10 pick
- 7.1% chance of getting the No. 11 pick
- 6.4% chance of getting the No. 12 pick
- 5.7% chance of getting the No. 13 pick
- 5.0% chance of getting the No. 14 pick
The Pistons, Rockets, and Spurs all have equal odds (14.0%) of winning the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft Lottery. The Magic won the lottery in 2023 with the same odds.
