Lions 'Not Sure' Sewell, Davenport Available Against Bucs
Lions head coach Dan Campbell told reporters Monday that the team is "not sure" if first-round pick Aidan Hutchinson will be available to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hutchinson, who was selected second overall by the Lions in the 2022 NFL Draft, has been dealing with a rib injury since the preseason. He missed Detroit's first two games of the season but returned to practice last week.Campbell said Hutchinson is "day-to-day" and that the team will make a decision on his status later this week.
Campbell also said that he is "not sure" if defensive end Romeo Okwara will be available for Sunday's game
Okwara has been dealing with an elbow injury since the preseason. He missed Detroit's first two games of the season but returned to practice last week.
Campbell said Okwara is "day-to-day" and that the team will make a decision on his status later this week.
The Lions are also waiting to see if they will have receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) against Tampa Bay
St. Brown suffered an ankle injury in Detroit's Week 2 loss to the Washington Commanders. He did not practice last week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
The Lions are hoping to have all three players available against the Buccaneers, but they will not make a final decision until later this week.
