CHRISTUS Health is hosting a virtual event on World Lung Cancer Day to educate the public about the disease and its prevention. The event will feature presentations from healthcare professionals, patient stories, and information about screening and treatment options. Attendees can join the event from 9 AM to noon Pacific Time on August 1st.
"World Lung Cancer Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about this preventable disease," said Dr. John Smith, a pulmonologist at CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital. "By spreading the word about the importance of early detection and prevention, we can help save lives."
