Sutton's Leaping Grab Proves to Be Game-Winner
DENVER, Colo. -- Courtland Sutton's leaping 15-yard touchdown catch with 1:03 remaining powered the Denver Broncos to a thrilling 21-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
The Broncos overcame two fumbles, including one by running back Alexander Mattison on first-and-10 from the Denver 34 late in the third quarter.
Sutton's touchdown catch came on a third-and-10 play and capped a 75-yard drive by the Broncos. Quarterback Drew Lock connected with Sutton on the sideline, and the receiver made a leaping catch over Vikings cornerback Jeff Gladney.
The Broncos defense held the Vikings to just 25 yards on their final drive to secure the victory.
With the win, the Broncos improve to 5-5 on the season, while the Vikings fall to 4-6.
