Aston Villa Ownership: A Comprehensive Guide

Who is the Current Owner of Aston Villa?

History of Ownership

Doug Ellis was the chairman and largest shareholder of Aston Villa for 23 years before selling his stake to Randy Lerner in 2006. Lerner, an American businessman, owned the club until 2018, when he sold it to Tony Xia. Xia then sold the club to NSWE Group just a year later.
